This Cookie Policy explains how Brunnhoff & Partners uses cookies and similar technologies on brunnhoff.com.
1. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Other technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can also store information on your device.
Our public website is currently configured to operate without setting cookies or using local storage or session storage to remember or track visitors. We do not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics or a cookie consent management tool in this configuration.
This description concerns ordinary visits to the public website. Restricted WordPress administration and login functions may use separate authentication and security cookies.
2. Cookieless website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, provided by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia, to understand visits to our website and improve its content. Our configuration records page views. Optional tracking of downloads, outbound link clicks, form submissions and internal search terms is disabled.
According to Plausible, its analytics does not use cookies, local storage or persistent visitor identifiers. It does not track visitors across different websites or devices.
Cookieless analytics still involves data processing. Page addresses and available referral information are transmitted for measurement. Plausible uses technical connection information, including the IP address and browser information, to derive approximate location and a daily, website-specific identifier. According to the provider, raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored in its analytics database.
Plausible stores event and session records to generate statistical reports. The analytics script and measurement requests are delivered through our domain, with analytics processing performed by Plausible. The provider states that visitor analytics data is processed and stored within the European Union.
Further information is available in Plausible’s Data Policy and our Privacy Policy.
3. Storage duration
Our current public website configuration does not set visitor cookies, so there are no visitor-cookie expiry periods to list.
Website analytics data held by Plausible is retained for up to three years. This refers to analytics records stored on the provider’s servers, not to cookies or information stored in your browser.
4. Hosting and server information
The website is hosted by cyon in Switzerland. Delivering and securing the website involves processing technical connection information and may involve server logs. These are separate from cookies and browser storage. Further information about hosting and other processing is provided in our Privacy Policy.
5. Browser controls and previous cookies
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and other stored website data using your browser settings. Cookies saved during earlier visits under a previous website configuration may remain until they expire or you delete them. Their continued presence does not necessarily mean that the current website still uses the service that originally created them.
There is currently no cookie preference panel because the public website is configured without optional cookies. If we introduce technologies that require consent, we will provide the necessary information and obtain consent before activating them.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the technologies or services used on the website change.
For questions, please contact us at office@brunnhoff.com. Information about the processing of personal data and your rights is available in our Privacy Policy.
